A few days ago I made this consultation on social networks to find out a little more about the needs of buyers when choosing their new home or second home.
The most consistent characteristics among these responses were: space, natural light, location and services around.
Everything that has been happening in the world since 2020 has made us rethink our needs.
In many sectors the teleworking, both full-time and part-time, has been established as a new way of working. This makes many choose to look for properties with spacious rooms where they can combine professional work with domestic life.
Oh, important fact! As you can imagine, there is also a “requirement”, although I prefer to call it a need, that the house have a terrace or a large balcony….
We are almost at perfection if space we add the possibility of enjoying daylight during most of the day, both for the benefits it brings to our health (physical and mental) and for the energy savings it entails for our pockets and our planet...
The location and services around it is something that always goes hand in hand when we talk to our buying clients. Most of them flee from the hustle and bustle of living in the center of the town, so they show more interest in housing in residential complexes within a radius of 2 km from the urban area, but which in turn have basic services such as supermarkets, health, restaurants etc…
Here in Denia, there is a large residential area that fits these criteria, such as the sports center area, La Pedrera, the port area to les Bassetes (Marina beach), and from the port to Marineta beach. Casiana (The Rotas).
